Capital Kennel Club of Juneau will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, October 15 starting at 1:30 PM at the Douglas Public Library Community Meeting Room. The meeting will conclude before 5 pm at the latest.
The annual membership meeting is a great time to visit with other club members.
Fun events at the meeting include:
1) Pot luck lunch. Bring your favorite light luncheon item to share. The club will supply paper plates and cups and plastic silverware. There will be basic kitchen facilities available.
2) White Elephant Dog Paraphernalia Exchange. Bring your dog surprises to exchange. Examples include:
3) Dog cookie/treat exchange. The holidays will soon be here. Make one batch of your dog’s favorite cookies or buy a bag of treats to share. Fun way for your dog to try new treats.
5) Annual club business meeting, including election of officers. The meeting will include the President’s annual Report and Review, a discussion of plans for the next year, treasurer’s year-end report, and the election of 3 persons to serve on the CKCOJ board for 2 year terms.
