Presented by George Utermohle  during the 2021 Annual Meeting.

In spite of the pandemic, members and dogs of the club were able to earn performance titles and certificates during the last year. Juneau dog/handler teams earned 5 titles and a certification: one agility title, two barn hunt titles, one rally obedience title, one obedience title, and one therapy dog certification.

Breckan handled by Jill Grose earned an American Kennel Club agility title Novice Jumpers With Weaves Preferred (NJP).

Breckan handled by Jill Grose earned an American Kennel Club Barn Hunt title Novice Barn Hunt (RATN)

Odin handled by Jill Grose earned an American Kennel Club Barn Hunt title Novice Barn Hunt (RATN)

Camper handled by Lori Hoover earned a United Kennel Club Rally Obedience title Rally Obedience Level 1 (URO1)

Ocean handled by Donna Leigh earned a Therapy Dog certification from Alliance of Therapy Dogs

Each of these dog/handler teams received a Certificate of Recognition during the annual membership meeting of the Capital Kennel Club on Sunday, October 3, 2021. The Certificate is the club’s acknowledgement of the many hours of training over the years necessary to develop the skills and team work necessary to earn titles and certifications from national organizations.

Congratulations to each of these dogs and their handlers.
