The meeting will conclude before 5 pm at the latest. The annual me mbership meeting is a great time to visit with other club members. The mee ting is still in the planning stages. The tentative events at the meeting include: \n1) Pot luck lunch. Bring your favorite light luncheon item to s hare. The club will supply paper plates and cups and plastic silverware. T here will be basic kitchen facilities available.2) Awards. Each year CKCOJ recognizes those dogs owned by club members who have achieved recognition in performance and conformation events in any venue (including UKC\, AKC\ , CKC\, NADAC\, ASCA\, etc.) since October 1\, 2017. Dogs achieving titles in UKC obedience and rally\, AKC CGC\, and NADAC receive pins recognizing their titles. Dogs receiving other titles from other organizations receiv e a certificate of recognition. The pins and certificates are awarded at t he annual membership meeting in October. In order to receive a pin or cert ificate\, the club member must complete a form listing the titles that the ir dog has received. Please complete the form as soon as possible\, so tha t the appropriate pins and awards will be available at the annual meeting. You can update your information if your dog receives an additional title before October 1. We will be providing a registration form to complete for the awards.  The awards recognition form will also be sent out to all clu b members by email. This is a great way to recognize and memorial ize you and your dog’s hard work during the last year. 3) Annual club busi ness meeting\, including election of officers.
