 Introduction to Nosework is a five-week class delivered over ZOOM.&nbsp\; 
 Nosework is a fun activity that taps into a dog's natural scenting abiliti
 es.&nbsp\; It trains the dog to locate a specific target odor and alert th
 e handler.&nbsp\; Handlers finishing this class will be prepared to join t
 he weekly nosework practice and participate in Nosework Trials.\nWe will b
 egin by imprinting the birch scent on your dog and teaching your dog an al
 ert behavior. Once your dog has paired the birch odor with a reward\, we w
 ill move to container searches\, starting with glass jars\, then cardboard
  boxes\, and moving on to simple interior/exterior searches. We will stres
 s 'sourcing' and how to read your dog's behavior when it is in an area of 
 odor.\nIt’s super important to attend all classes\, as there will be minim
 al time to catch up\, and each class will build on the previous class. It’
 s also important to practice every day (only 5-10 min)\, especially the fi
 rst two weeks.\nStarter kits are included in the price of the class.\nCost
