Welcome to the Capital Kennel Club of Juneau website. Check out all the training and canine information we have to offer. Become a supporting member and participate in the many activities we have throughout the year. If you are a new dog owner, then we have many resources to help you and your friend. If you are a seasoned dog owner, we offer intermediate and advanced practices and UKC and NADAC trials locally.

Prerequisites
Completed Level 1 Beginners Agility or trained on agility obstacles
Cost
$60 per Team (1 handler and 1 dog), $40 for a Junior Handler. $10 per drop-in
Duration
6 classes 2 hour each (dates weather dependent)

Open to all members trained on obstacles or members who completed a Beginners Level 1 class. Each course consists of beginners or intermediate sequencing. The Focus is on cuing, distance training, handling systems and foundational basics with each course.

A good recall highly is recommended for off-leash training. Dogs must be at least 12 months old and have no issues with other dogs. Bring a crate, a 6 foot slip leash, favorite TUG & Throw toy and small tasty treats. The field will be split into two training areas.

Handler must be a member of CKCOJ.
