Jill Grose Memorial Annual Versatility Award
Purpose: Award for the most versatl!e dog in the c!ub each year
Method: Form sent electronical ly to each member in August (annually) to complete and submit: Legs earned and dates. Titles earned and dates, competitions entered/dates. The honor system will be used, no points will be checked tor accuracy.
A person designated to receive the completed forms, checks the math and puts dogs In order of highest to lowest points. Award (TBD) will be given at the annual meeting. This person orders the award (Initially from Oliver's Trophies) with enough lead time to receive the engraved award to present at the annual meeting.
Scoring:
1 point for each qualifying score earned (any registry, any sport)
1 point for completing any title (any registry, any sport)
1 point for each different sport competed in whether or not a qualifying score or title is earned.
Any bona fide dog sport, any registry including but not limited to: obedience, rally, agility, earthdog, barn hunt, herding, tracking nosework, trelball, hunt or field trials, draft dog trials etc...
Recipients must be a member of the club when points are earned. No points may be carried forward from a previous year or before membership started or after membership ended. Only points earned during the club year (Oct 1 - Sept 30) will be counted.
Award: small (5x7) engraved plaque with award name ("Jill Grose Memorial Annual Versatility Award") dog's name, handler's name and date. Suggested budget under $50.
