Congratulations to all! None of this could have happened without the many volunteers: Camille Stephens, Andy McGregor, Sue McGregor, Sherrie Jans, Vicky McLaughlin, Jill Grose, Karen Capp, Mary Opp, Marty Messick, Aran Felix, Susan Hoffman, and Jill Taylor. Many people who were competing with their dogs also volunteered to help run the trial, true dedication! We also had several people who were not participating with their dogs come out and volunteer their time. Those volunteers are invaluable to the smooth running of a trial. A big thank you to all who helped out!

Sue McGregor organized the tests and co-taught, together with Susan Hoffman, the preparation classes for canine good citizen. The tests were held with the assistance of a large number of volunteers and the Gastineau Humane Society. Our thanks go to all who participated in the tests and to those whose efforts made the tests possible.

The CKCOJ held its annual agility demonstration at Sandy Beach/Savikko Park as part of the Douglas Fourth of July celebration.
The demonstration was organized as an agility relay race. Each team consisted of a less experienced dog and a veteran agility dog. The less experienced dog did a short course of jumps, tunnels, and a chute. The experienced dog did a course of jumps, dog walk, tire, table, and teeter. The times of both dogs was combined to determine the total time for each team.
The winners were:

THANK YOUS
A HUGE THANK YOU to Anita Martin for volunteering her time to be the Trial Secretary. Without Anita there would not have been an obedience trial.
To our crew of wonderful stewards who took time out of their busy lives to help out at the trial THANK YOU. Without your efforts this trial would not have been as good as it was. I deeply appreciate all of your efforts. You are a wonderful group of club members as well as my very good friends. You took a load off of my mind when planning this event.
